Built: 1973 by VEB Schiffswerft "Neptun", Rostock, German Democratic Republic. Yard no: 372.
Main engine: nine-cylinder,two-stroke Halberstadt-MAN K9Z60/105E of 9,000 bhp at 165 rpm. Speed: 17 knots.
Launched for J Presthus, Bergen Norway as ANNA PRESTHUS sold while fitting-out to Ab Svenska Orient Linjen (Swedish Orient Line), renamed BARDALAND (Swedish flag).
1978-company absorbed into Broströms Rederi AB, Gothenburg.
1984-sold/renamed ARCTIC LINK (as in photo).
1986-sold to V Ships, Gibraltar, renamed MARINA SUN and then resold to China Ocean Shipping Co, renamed LU HAI 65.
Later transferred to Shandong Province Marine Shipping Co, Qingdao.
Current status unknown (probably scrapped).

Nice shot Bob.
Docklands used to be my working area during the late 80's early 90's and quite often parked up by the river to see the ships using Convoys. Good memories.
