1969: transferred within Furness Withy Group to Royal Mail Lines and renamed DERWENT.
1971: to breakers at Bilbao, Spain, arrived 25/11.

Sailed on the ship as the Derwent in October 1969 - did a couple of trips as a junior engineer down to BA etc. It was my first ship and probably the best! A great bunch of lads. Some good memories. Many thanks for posting the photo.
