Bob,thanks for your comment,it appears to have a combination of
gas turbine,conventional diesels driving alternators with electric propulsion motors,nothing like making things as complex as possible.

I wondered about the IMO Ken,but included it, otherwise it screws up the search
engine without it.

I think you are correct Bob, they are issued with an IMO number but it is not used after being Commissioned, the Pennant number then comes into play.
If an IMO number is known I have added it to the ship but for search purposes on this Website it is preferable to use the Pennant Number.

As an aside, I though these vessels only had IMO numbers before the were commissioned after which they were dropped. Anyone confirm.
