PS:
- Yes, Ben, longest daylight was on 21st June (you are absolutely correct ! )..... unfortunately, every day now is a bit shorter than the previous one..... hmm, how I don't like the "dark" days of the winter time
- Volker, some day, if you have time and possibility, you are kindly invited for a "viewing session" from my balcony,, this is seriously said !

I have not experienced much problems with Marinetraffic here in Thailand but I always
compare data with the pilot list. There have been cases were vessels that has been broken up already
suddenly shows up on AIS but then they shows up not only on Marinetraffic but also on
AISLive and Fleetmon etc., so there are bugs for sure but in general I think it is a great tool, like in this case :-)
Best regards,
Geir

It's certainly not a "cheat".. it's more than OK for me, for sure !! :-))
Indeed a well done investigation, Geir (surprisingly, I didn't come to think of that method...)
@ Emmanuel
Maybe it's needed to say, that Geir made 'just a guess' (in his first comment) about LADY FARIDA (he wrote: I think)... and his guess was/is herewith right!
Many thx once again Geir and Emmanuel,
Remaining with my best regards,
Jadran

I cheated a bit by using Marinetraffic to see vessels currently
in port at Rijeka and from there it was quite easy :-)
Best regards,
Geir

Thank you very much for your nice comment (including the link), Geir..... and may I ask you: how did you recognize the small (but rather nice looking) general cargo ship LADY FARIDA being seen on this photo on that far distance !?
Best regards,
Jadran

Volker1948,

Yes,, it is indeed bright & strong light .... shot this early morning 7:26 hrs at temperature being 29°C at that moment (yesterday at Rijeka maximum temperature 35°C !! in the afternoon).
Frankly speaking,, I'm already having enough of this 'scorching sun & heat' for this year hahaha.....
Remaing with very best regards,
Jadran
