Hi there,
excellent picture of a handsome ship. She was the lead vessel of the Neptun 381 design. The short lived shipping company Hamburger Seereederei Kontor of the fraudulent owner Heiner Braasch collapsed only two years after the picture was taken. There is an article about the company in the german wikipedia:

"Hamburger Wall" could carry 4 layers of containers in holds and 2 layers on hatch covers (one layer on Hold No.1 covers), in total 308 TEU. At that time, it was fully enough to be called "mid-size container ship".

A month later, in October 1972, I went on bord of that ship. Really a beautiful shot showing the ship in true colours of that time. Thanks for sharing with us.
