Description:

The finnish small general cargo ship BALTIC (1960) was lenghtened and converted into a cable recovery ship in 1968. No idea what that is, but she is shown here incoming at the New Waterway around 1980. The ship looks distinctly different from the only other shot on the site with the same IMO number, but the goal post in front of the deckhouse is characteristic enough to make me think that we are looking at the same ship.
