Brilliant photographs and if some members are worried about angles and helicopters then why don't they just leave or something is very wrong with this sites rules

Hi Eric. Wonderful shot. Beautiful composition, and, the sea level shot angle its really nice. Even the chopper looks like its painted on the hull. Congratulations.

Another issue here is that the ship angle hasn't changed enough from each shot to meet the site standards. I think the shots are great and should be retained, it's the last of consistency and objectivity that is causing the problems for members when assessing other photographs which have other items such as birds etc in the shot. It's a difficult problem but it does need addressing as it's the biggest cause of disagreements on the site. Hopefully the Webmaster is going to take it forward.

The whole series of photos taken on that occasion is fantastic; really an example what to strive for in ship spotting photography - and something that I probably will never reach... :(
