Thanks Vlad - I think that we can go with that, at least for now (name updated)

I've missed this one before: this is the "JIN SUNG", MMSI: 440124560, regular guest at Ulsan port. "Ho" is a common ending to a Korean ship's name, meaning something like "vessel". Many times it's written on the hull, but omitted from AIS.

Her photos on Marinetraffic are mostly mine, but don't take my word for it, as one prolific Korean contributor from Ulsan also agrees.

Cheers

Oh. Korean shipping is most disagreeable.

That SUNGJIN still a cargo vessel - 75 x 13m - trading regularly to Japan/China (and in Kobe on the day in question).

MarineTraffic has photo of same vessel (2012) as just JIN SUNG, though showing three characters.

How about SUNGJIN? (IMO 8877825) She's a cargo vessel but what's to say she hasn't been converted?

Something like JIN SONG OH. However, no ship matches.
