The tug Yvonne W assisting barge Stemat 88 past Ellesmere Port. The lead tug is MSC Victory (IMO No. 7342158). Yvonne W and Stemat 88 had been working at Barton in the upper reaches of the Manchester Ship Canal to recover a bridge deck and construction equipment that collapsed into the canal on 16 May 2016. Fortunately the accident caused no injuries but it resulted in the cargo ship Arklow Vale being trapped in the canal where she remains at the time of writing more than 2 months later.
