Description:
Considered by many as one of the nicest tankers from the sixties, the SOFIYA class was the mainstay of the Soviet tanker fleet. Fitted with 19000 SHP turbines, the ships could sail at 17.5 knots, probably en engine choice along similar lines as the Americans did, with military purposes in mind. This is the 1964 built BELGRAD, that was delivered by the Baltic shipyard. Scrapped in 1986 as GRAD
