Thanks Adenanthos! I was quite pleased with the result as well.
In 1876 the total costs af building the "zuidersluis"was 1.530.000 Dutch Guilders

Very neat ! lying in the "Zuidersluis"
Next to this lock there is an even smaller one called the "Kleine Sluis" which is mainly used for pleasure craft as one can see.
These were the original locks when the Noordzeekanaal (North Sea Canal) was opened in 1876.
