Ted: You are of course correct about FREEDEBURG/LLOYD ESTOCOLMO/ROLAND ATLANTIC being one and the same ship. My mistake. MUGGENBURG was LLOYD JACKSONVILLE. NEUENBURG had a Stülken derrick

@ Bob, Thanks infos,, appreciated. Freedeburg was the Roland Atlantic because I was on her under both names 78/79
and the Neuenburg was alitle different as she had on the back of the forecastle 2 cranes and also heavy lift booms which the Freedeburg/Muggenburg did not have. The both were long time in Lloyd Brasiliero charter, the Freedeburg was there the Lloyd Estocolmo, do not remember the name of the Muggenburg in that charter.

FREEDEBURG was of Typ Neptun 381, as was MUGGENBURG (which became ROLAND PACIFIC). NEUENBURG was of Typ 388 and became ROLAND OCEANIC. I cannot find any trace of a ROLAND ATLANTIC. All of these ships were a little bit smaller than the Typ 421 pictured above. Most of the Neptun-built ships were of very similar appearance but in different sizes

Nice shot Bob. Do you know by any chance if the following vessels belong to the same serial
Freedeburg , Muggenburg and Neuenburg. They were all operated by Reederei Barthold Richter in Hamburg and owned bei Reederei Eugen Friedrich,Bremen which actually operated them again in 1978-79 until they were sold. I sailed on the Freedeburg and the Neuenburg, which were then named Roland Atlantic and Roland Pacific
