Dear Jadran and David,
As correctly mentioned NOVOMIR 3 (IMO unknown) was Hull No. 222 at "SPLIT", BRODOGRADILISTE, completed on 26.12.1967. I don't the joint venture, but the last operator probably was NOVOSHIP (UK). It is said that she was sold for scrap on 11.09.91 but in 1996 continued her service as an oil tanker with DNV class and Maltese flag. Beached at Alang on 13.02.1997.

Many thanks, David (davidships), for the additional listing;
To be frank, I never heard of the NOVOMIR ships, thanks for mentioning them (that's a new info for me ! )
Best regards /Jadran

So the Novoklav for joint venture between Novoship and Klaveness Ship Management. And the Novotsak with Tsakos/Cyprus, also

NOVOTSAK 2 ex-MARSHAL BIRYUZOV (Brodosplit 1966)
NOVOTSAK 3 ex-PYOTR ALEXEYEV (Brodosplit 1966)

Then there were three Novomir; was that another JV?

NOVOMIR 1 ex-NIKOLAY PODVOYSKIY (3 Maj 1966)
NOVOMIR 2 ex-GENERAL BOCHAROV (3 Maj 1966)
NOVOMIR 3 ex-GENERAL KARBYSHEV (Brodosplit 1967)

Thanks Jadran.
I also have GENERAL KRAVTSOV seen at Amsterdam, which became NOVOTSAK-1 in 1990, with Cyprus flag, but presumably after the same treatment.

Hello Graham,, some of her other sisters were:
GENERAL SKODUNOVITCH >> NOVOKLAV-1 (refit/upgrade done at VLS)
GORI >> ( I think) NOVOKLAV-3
Kind regards /Jadran

What a coincidence.. Just yesterday evening I was collecting details of her sister GENERAL ZHDANOV, which I had seen in Amsterdam in August 1989 with molasses from Bombay. She must have had the same treatment shortly after, because she was renamed NOVOKLAV-4 in 1990.
