That's the National Liberal Club (the building may have a different name), 1 Whitehall Place, facing the Embankment just upstream from Charing Cross railway bridge.

spudsgud: So, the survivor gets to go to London as a tourist attraction. Sounds about right.
Where about is this on the Thames? I don't recognise the rather impressive building behind.

Tattershall Castle was previously a Ferry sailing between Hull Yorkshire and New Holland Lincolnshire with her sisters Lincoln and Wingfield Castles before the completion of the Humber Bridge.
