Description:
The Vizakhapatnam built JALAKANTA, which had replaced a Liberty ship of the same name, delivered to Scindia Steam Navigation on 2nd August 1966, is seen passing Portishead inward for Avonmouth exactly fifty years ago yesterday, on 28th September 1966.
JALAKANTA finally arrived at Bombay on 7th September 1986 with breaking commencing on 29 January 1987.
