That is surprising as Turkish flag is on the low-risk "white list" of the Paris Memorandum, regarding ship inspections. However this owner has chosen the fifth worst flag on the Black List, so I would have been amazed if ECE G is not inspected on this voyage; except that she may escape attention as she is headed into the small German port of Vierow (of which I had not heard before)
http://www.hafen-vierow.de/english/port/

She is inspected farly regularly and was detained three days last November (though as that was at Eleusina, it is quite likely that she was being repaired anyway) - then she had a follow-up inspection in April at Larnaca, with no reported deficiencies.

The current owners, Crost Denizcilik Tasimacilik ve Dis Ticaret Ltd Sti (http://www.crost.com.tr/ ), seem to be a new offshoot of long-established German airfreight business, now run by Cengiz Yalli

You're both right. It's been a long time ago I have seen a ship with old derricks!
