At Atalanti Island, near Piraeus on June 26, 2006. IMO 5091016. Ex-DJEBEL-DIRA 1948, PHOENIX 1970-79.

She was built for Cie. de Navigation Mixte, Marseille for Marseille - Casablanca service. In 1970 she was sold to Spyros P. Billinis, Piraeus and was converted into a cruise ship for cruises in the Greek Isles, also to Turkey and Israel. In December 1980 she was severely damaged in a storm while bound for Haifa and was laid up in Perama, Greece, for 10 years, changing owners three times. On July 6, 1990, while finally under repairs at Keratsini, Piraeus, she caught fire, was taken in tow and beached at Atalanti Island where the fire was extinguished the next day. The wreck has since been disposed of.
