At only 63m and 5,000 hp, the ONYX is an entry-level, bottom-of-the-range AHTS. On the other hand, KREUZ CHALLENGER is a high-spec construction support vessel. At 91m she is considerably longer than ONYX.

An interesting photo, Eric!

The length of KREUZ is a little more than that of ONYX yet her superstructure is much higher! Please someone tell us why she is built that way.

I think that "David" is a strong one, built in 2015, 63 x 16 meters. BHP 5.150. Bollard Pull 65 tons. but I must admit; there are two different sizes. I could not find any data of "Kreuz Challenger."

Any idea why they called at Le Havre for 30 hours? Unusual port of call for Romania-Norway transit.
