Nice shot Vlad, there is currently a series on discovery channel "Worlds largest Shipbuilders" and they are following the construction of Maersk Tangier and others.

Hi Roy,
I'll need to look around a bit to see if there are any new light blue hull blocks lying around the yard, but to me it looks like that's it. In any case, this series of IMO numbers stops right here.
'Triste' also means 'sad' in Italian, but Trieste should be an entirely different thing - the town on the Adriatic coast is considered to be 'Vienna by the sea', and in fact has a decidedly Austrian feeling, even as it nears the 100th anniversary of being in Italy.

Cheers

Vlad

Hi Vlad,
Many thanks for another Maersk new-built.
I lost track a bit but if I'm right this is no.10 is this series.
Do you know how many more are coming.
About the name, 'triest' is something else in Dutch, it means sad. Let's hope it won't apply to this vessel.
Cheers,
Roy
