Seeing as he outed himself Clyde, it'll be Port Phillip Sea Pilots . . . .

Cheers,

Thank you Pete. I'm pleased that Tropic protects his sources like a good journalist would.

What is "the PPSP mafia"

I was trying to keep you incognito Pete . . . . .

WSS Mafia - really ! More like PPSP mafia

For Clyde - Most of the ships are happy to pass on any information to various WSS editorial staff once they realize that there are people out there interested in what they are doing cargo wise etc etc. It is almost a surprise to them that some of us take an interest in what they are doing ( unlike most of their owners / crewing managers etc etc )

The chaps from the local branch of the World Ship Society are a good source of information Husni.

Cheers,
tropic

WSS mafia?? any details?
tropic maritime images on Oct 21, 2016 05:04 (2 years ago)
Thanks Clyde. I reckon it's the 300mm zoom that foreshortens it. It's my preferred shot too, but some people don't like it for some reason. The ol' WSS mafia are a good source of info regarding cargoes (most of the time). . . .

Cheers,
tropic

I don't know why, but I prefer this starboard side shot to the other two you captured that day!

Do you have industry connections that let you find out details of cargo?
