Last year I saw video footage and images on Facebook taken from drones of USS MILWAUKEE (LCS-5) as she was transiting Canadian waters during her delivery trip from the Great Lakes. No shots fired...

Maybe, if this had been a USN warship, your drone would have been shot down as a potential threat (LOL).

Thanks Allan
Probably will have to store it inside for the winter in the coming weeks. Can't fly it in freezing temps.
Can you imagine photographing ships in the ice from the air? What a treat that would be! Probably next March...

Including the preparation for uploading, I guessed that you are a good organiser as well as an excellent photographer!

Thanks Clyde. 5 minutes of intense activity as drone hovers over location. I first take bow shots with the D-SLR and the slide SLR, then I position the drone for bows/sterns. Finally sterns with slide camera and with the D-SLR as the ship sails away and drone returns to base. Lots of fun and concentration.

Congratulations Marc. That's a new way to capture three different angles!
