Hello mcole,
Thank you very much for your help and advice.
I discover every day how difficult it is to find out the who or what of funnels. I am trying all sorts of ways , so I am happy with all help I get.
Thans again.
All the best,
Patrick
I took an interest in funnel markings back in 2009 and can relate to how difficult it can be to pin down some of the funnel markings. Sometimes it is a case of googling a combination of vessel name, Equasis owners/charterers/ship managers (past & present) even IMO numbers as well as viewing online resources (as previously mentioned in other responses). Suffice to say that not all can be identified easily or at all as companies may have gone bust, do not have a website or want to remain hidden. Happily a large number of company logos are known as this category testifies.
As a guide I would suggest that if an owners website doesn't match the logo pictured then post it to the Sub Category “Historical/Unidentified Ship Funnel Marks” where I'm sure admin & site members will be more than happy to help you identify the logo.
Regards,
mcole

The ship is under commercial op of newly formed Schulte & Bruns Chartering, a subsidiary of the Schulte & Bruns Group. Management- Liberty Blue, but the funnel not always holds manager's sign

The ship is probably on charter to or commercially managed by old-established Schulte & Bruns

Thank you Yvon. I have added your site link to the Site Standard and Guidance FAQ for the Category - reached from the Support tab on the Home page
So I blamed Equasis for nothing. My apologies for that. But for me still a big mistery how to findthe right funnel with the right company. Thank you very much for all the help anyway.

Liberty Blue from April 2016 - may be funnel not painted since change of management company. But Equasis does not have Schulte and Bruns before Liberty Blue either !!

I have been looking via Equasis and found Liberty Blue.I know Equasis makes many mistakes, but I don not know any other way to identify via shipnames what company they are sailing for. Please do you know a better way to find the company names via shipname/funnel?? I would be very grateful. Thank you.
