CANGURO CABO SAN SEBASTIAN LR/IMO 7117876 Under that name she was launched on September 4, 1971 at Valencia (Union Naval de Levante shipyard) for Ybarra Y Cia. and kept that name for 10 years. Sold in 1981 to Cia. Transmediterranea.

If you view the photo full screen you will see that CANGURO (it means "Kangaroo) is painted above the rest of the name

Bob, that was my thought as well, but the word Canguro seems to be missing. Did she sail without it for a short peirod?
