SUNNY LINK ex Daisy T, ex Pansy, ex Sea Noble (IMO 9114531)
The general cargo ship SUNNY LINK had to intentionally run aground on Abagatanen Beach, on the western coast of Central Luzon, Philippines, on February 4/2022, interrupting its voyage from Indonesia to China, apparently carrying a cargo of steel. The ship suffered water ingress and ran aground, it is understood, to avoid sinking. Since June 13/2022, the SUNNY LINK is still in the same position, local authorities have asked the owner to remove the ship, in view of the upcoming typhoon season. SUNNY LINK did not damage the reefs, there are no leaks..
