WELCOME TO SHIPSPOTTING.COM
Description:
A surprise departure an hour ago (1700 hrs 25/11/2016) from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Light ship and lifting into the Atlantic swell.
Repairs must have been completed - or sufficient to proceed - by onboard engineers & electrician.
Unaccompanied by tugs and is currently slow steaming at under 9 knots (for now) with destination Besiktas, Turkey.
An unusual destination as it is in central Istanbul, and, for example, nowhere near the breakers at Aliaga - even if the vessel could fit.
Does she have further life, I wonder?

Vessel would appear to have been repaired and now in service. But is she back on the same West African service, or sold for demolition?
The questions continue.
