Armed with Evolved Sea Sparrow Short Range Surface to Air Missiles, Harpoon Anti Ship Missiles, 57mm Main Gun, 20mm Phalanx Close in Weapon System, 6 0.50cal machine guns, and 12.75" ASW Torpedoes. Can carry 1 Sea King Helicopter.
Has been involved in operations to combat drug smuggling, combating international terrorism, and assisting Louisiana after Hurricane Katrina in 2005.
