Description:

SEAROAD MERSEY II seen assisted by the tug CAMPBELL COVE as she arrives in her home port Devonport for the first time. 11/12/2016

SEAROAD MERSEY II is SeaRoad Shipping's new LNG powered roll-on/roll-off freight vessel. She will soon operate on a regular service between Devonport and Melbourne.

Although publicised as a replacement for the original SEAROAD MERSEY, the original ship will continue in operation with the new vessel while SEAROAD TAMAR undergoes dry docking. Following this, it is believed SEAROAD MERSEY will continue servicing King Island.

Thank you Paul! It was great to see the large turnout of people who had lined the banks of the Mersey River to see her arrive.

Cheers,
Tobias
