VULCAN Materials Company pushing two barges with construction aggregates into the Hampton Roads area past Fort Monroe Hampton VA from the Chesapeake Bay going west. The flag at Fort Wool in the background is probably at half staff for Senator John Glenn who died two days prior. Senator Glenn was also one of the first astronauts from the US in 1962, a World War II and Korean War Veteran pilot with US Marine Corps. He became the oldest person to fly in space in 1998 when again went to space on the space shuttle Discovery.
