Description:

US Navy Ticonderoga Class AEGIS Cruiser leaving Norfolk Naval Station going east past Fort Monroe Hampton VA. She has a number of raw steel spots along her port side. She had deployed on Nov. 28th along with a number of other ships for exercises with the USS George H.W. Bush (CVN 77) carrier strike group. She did not have those raw/unpainted spots then. The exercise is ongoing. I wonder if she had an "incident" and had to get some quick repairs and then go back out to finish the exercise?
