Great shot Clyde @ Matty yes have a look at Clyde's shipping spotting locations. Sydney is a shipspotters paradise, lots of ferries of all shapes and sizes cruise ships and RAN vessels at Garden Island. If you do visit Australia put Melbourne on your list as well Melbourne is great for Container ships ,car carriers and the Tasmanian shipping such as The Spirit of Tasmania ferries and Toll and Searoad vessels. If you do come let us know I am sure Clyde and myself would show you the shipspotting locations in our own cities .

@Matty Allow 20 hours including airport time. See my signature for some of the shipspotting options. Selecting from them helps me plan my day

@Bob The weather and the scenery appeals to many people.

How long is the flight to Sydney from UK usually? 14 hours ? Would love to visit this location for some serious spotting.

Thanks Tony and husni. It was 29C with strong glare so the colours were strengthened.

@husni Shark Island is not as good for fishing as other locations in the Harbour, but it is a great place for family and group picnics

Clyde, must admit I am not a real Bulk Carrier fan, however this is a really nice shot. Great colour contrast - takes us back to the Kodak days.
