Great shot Clyde, these current generation ocean racers are a mighty thing!! A tad quicker than the ol' Farr 40 I used to crew on....

Yes vokstar. The crowd near us was not exactly cheering, but there were many gasps of excitement.
I hope the line honors winner arrives in Hobart at a time suitable for you. Perhaps after beating the race record of one day 18 hours 23 minutes 12 seconds. -

Was an amazing start to the race. Wish I had've know it was being broadcast on youtube at the same time as the TV cause the ad's where like a plague.

Thanks Barry. The media reported “600,000 people converged on Sydney Harbour foreshore and millions more tuned into the action on TV and online" I don't know how they do the count but I believe it. This year I was on the Middle Head track near Frenchy's Cafe.
