Description:
Sebastiano Tuillier's AUDACITY was photographed passing Portishead, inbound for Avonmouth, exactly fifty years ago today, on 8th January 1967 on a voyage from Bombay via Belfast on charter to Anchor Line.
Built by Lithgows at Port Glasgow in 1952 for British & Burmese S.N. Co. Ltd. (Henderson Line), she transferred in 1964 to Elder Dempster Lines before being sold in 1966 to the Lugano, Switzerland, based Tuillier family.
AUDACITY finally arrived at Aviles, Spain, on 10th January 1978 for breaking.
