After having been loyal to Norwegian yards, Bartz Johannessen turned to Japan in 1983/4, to order two ships from Towa, follwoing a then very popular design of easy chemical tankers of about 7000 DWT.
SUPPLIER was the second ship, TRADER the first.
She became TROLLVANN in 1989, only to revert to her original name in 1994, sailing another to years as such. Sold on to become DAS and finally broken up in 2011
