Pirate attack on tanker off Bonny
The "Scot Munchen" was attacked by pirates off the coast of Bonny, Nigeria, on March 6,, 2018, at 10 a.m. She was approached by two speedboats nine miles Southwest of the Bonny Fairway Buoy with armed pirates onboard. The speedboats were sighted two hours later at 12.45 p.m. leaving the vessel. The windows of the bridge have been damaged by the shots, and there was damage to the vessel from the bullets.
