Thanks Denis, colour plays a big part, though I am a bit nostalgic of old ships of bygone days,I fear we have lost the true vision so many colourful vessels, company logos and flags etc, by seeing them in only in black and white.
Thanks and regards

Hi B.Clark, though containerships play a most or even the most important role in cargo hauling , yet you cannot say that a crammed with containers vessel is a very photogenic subject (not these feeder ones, I am referring to the giants)as are the floating apartment blocks of giant cruise liners ,to quote Mr.DOT.
I am still nostalgic to the old cargo ships of the 50s and 60s.But regrettably progress stops for no one. Well as they say beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
regards and thanks

Hi Jadran, yes containerships are not my favourites, but this is Feeder type and quite different from the jampacked giants usually only seen at Marsaxlokk bay.At least you are seeing more of the ship than a mass of containers stacked upon each other with the accommodation/bridge tucked in somewhere in between. Get it,
Thanks and regards

Hi Marc, we cannot control the weather ,but at least we could combat it. My thoughts go towards the victims of the earthquakes in Italy and those living in tents across frigid Europe . At least we have a roof over our heads, but these poor souls, most of them don't even have that.
regards and thanks Marc.

And not only scenery Marc, but some rather nice weather, temperature in the 16 to 18c and some beautiful sunshine whilst most of Europe alas freezes.
