Another photo taken by my father, Francis Thorne' in the fall of 1980 while on a Swan-Hellenic Mediterranean cruise. I believe we are looking over the side of the 'Orpheus' in this photo.

That is the best angle to see the JUPITER. From some other angles she looked slightly odd because her funnel was slightly too far aft IMHO.

In answer to Fatih
The photo was taken by my father who passed away in 2003. Notes that he wrote on the slide mount say nothing about the location other than "Med" meaning Mediterranean. My parents did visit Ephesus in Turkey, however, & some other ship photos from the same trip were taken there. If this looks to you like Kusadasi, it likely is.
