Description:
29th January 1967, exactly fifty years ago today, was the last of three full days spent at Gravesend armed with a new camera.
The third ship to be photographed on that day was United States Lines' 1962 Newport News built AMERICAN CHARGER
She was laid up at San Francisco from August 1981 and sent to Kaohsiung for breaking in May 1988
