COCKLE BAY arriving at BEATRICE BUSH for SLIVER WHISPER passengers

Media release information:

SEALINK Travel Group yesterday unveiled two passenger catamarans MV Blackwattle Bay and MV COCKLE BAY to join the Captain Cook Cruises Sydney Harbour fleet. The 60-pax vessels will open new inner city routes, operate services for Captain Cook’s Hop On Hop Off, White Bay ferry service and act as a regular transport service for conference delegates to the International Convention Centre Sydney.

Captain Cook Cruises has unveiled and christened BEATRICE BUSH – the first Sydney Harbour mobile passenger terminal pontoon. Beatrice will allow for Captain Cook Cruises to operate a long awaited charter ferry service from the city to White Bay to service the burgeoning cruise market. Beatrice Bush, named after the colourful local Balmain and Rozelle identity, will be stationed at White Bay and the ferry service will coincide with all cruise ship arrivals and departures at the White Bay Cruise Terminal from August 2015. The 15 minute ferry service will provide a quick and efficient transfer option for all cruise ship passengers and crew.

Clyde, good to see the White Bay to city service has commenced. Should improve passenger experience when a ship docks at White Bay.
