As seen from a plane flying to Fukuoka, before the pilot realized he had to adjust the course more to the south. The northern part of the port is out of the frame, but there are still plenty of details to be seen (more in full-res!).

Block buildings at the upper part of the photo are big refrigerated warehouses for fish and other living and swimming things harvested from sea, lower port shore houses repair shipyards on the right, and general cargo port on the left. On the bottom of the photo, not actually belonging to the port, is the new shipbuilding facility of Daesun shipyard, and you can even see how the container feeder vessels are usually built in two halves.

Also, ner the top of the photo, there's Songdo beach, not half bad place for swimming, considering its position in the middle of all this industry.
