Fifty years ago today, on 15th February 1967, Donaldson's LISMORIA sailed from Avonmouth as NEON under the Greek flag to load a final cargo for Shanghai. She then went to Kaohsiung for breaking, arriving on 24th May.

A Victory ship of the VC2-S-AP2 type with passenger accommodation, she was built at Terminal Island, Los Angeles, at the end of 1944 and delivered on 31st January 1945 as TAOS VICTORY. She was purchased by Donaldson Atlantic Line Ltd in 1948.
