Ironically founderedo ff the South African coast whilst under tow on her way to the breakers.

Sailed on her when she was the Navarino back in 77...I was in high school at the time. Hit a coral reef...can't remember if it was in the Seychelles or Mauritius. Arrived back in Cape Town a few hours (not days) late...bent prop blades. then she left later that night on her northbound voyage. Beautiful vessel.

Correct Frenchred. She should not be in the scapyard ships category, as she survived until 2001, when she sank on her way to the breakers.

I think this was originally the "Gipsholm" built in 1957 IMO 5136361, then "Navarino" until 1983, then "Samantha" until 1984, then "Regent Sea" until scrapped.
