This tug was rebuilt from the rear section of inland tanker JOSEF JAEGERS (Eur.Nr. 4601330) which was built in 1970 by shipyard Schimag at Neckarsulm/Germany. In 1991 the rear section was fitted to inland dry cargo vessel VAGARI (ENI 02323034) until 2015 when it was converted to an inland tug by shipyard van Wijk at Werkendam (NL).
