Description:

Graceland ex.Insula Built in 1891 by Schaubach & Greamer at Lützel - Koblenz in Germany.
Built as DEUTSCHER KAISER WILHELM II
Later named ELWIRA
Later named DEN BOMMEL, for owner in the Netherlands
Later named INSULA for N.V. Eerste Urker Stoomboot Maatschappij, at Urk / Netherlands. In use for regular service from town Kampen to island Urk on the lake Ysselmeer.
In 1970 this service ended (due to high losses and the ship was worn out) and the ship was sold to unknown owner.
Technical details:
First steam engine unknown.
In 1928 other engine installed: two-cylinder vertical compound steam engine, built already in 1915 by Steen & Kaufmann, 240 ihp.
In 195x diesel engine installed.
In 1938 dimensions were given as: 36.24 m length, 5.97 m breadth, 60 dwt.
