Have question,, when transiting like that,, the pilot is on the bridge and directs the tugs or is he on the front tug and does it from there ?

Very interesting indeed. Looks like she's been optimised for easier loading of windmill parts.

Hello Denis ,where did you find the name Western Rock?
I thought the name of the next newbuilding was CELTIC.
But in the past the ARCTIC(9650901) was renamed Arctic Rock just before delivery.
So this name change is possible.
But I can not find anything about WESTERN ROCK.

Thanks Denis! That was also my thought.

Looks like a further development from the successful Hartman M2 Runner. I see a very similar hull design with same increased hold width & also appears this one would have a stern ramp & ability to roll the cargo via it onto tweendecks. I guess hatch covers will be stored aft above the notch as it's not possible to lower them in to it.
Excellent photos, Fabian - thanks for sharing! Can't find any review about this ship, except that there's a sistership - WESTERN ROCK is in build.

The casco was built at the Partner Shipyard near Szczecin and the destination according to AIS is Ijmuiden.
