In all these years inland vessels have always been only some sort of by-catch when shipspotting (due to the fact that at Bubendey Ufer and Rüschpark you most often don't have a nice perspective when these small vessels are sailing by).
But lately I've become quite fascinated with the longevity of these ships (a hundred years and more in quite a number of cases) and how versatile they are... cut a section off here, add a new one there; yesterday a dry cargo vessel, today a gas or oil or cement tanker or vice versa... It really does not get boring!:-)
