Description:

The two year old Belgian containership Maeterlinck in the New Waterway 18.9.86 downbound from Rotterdam. The Boelwerf shipyard also completed a sister Verhaeren mainly for the charter market, soon the pair were sailing as SCanDutch Helvertia and Rehien Express respectively. In 1991, the Materlinck's owner CMB fixed her to CMA of France, soon to merge into CMA CGM, and was r/n Ville de Canopus. By the late 1990's she had come under MSC operation and sailed as MSC Peggy until arriving at Alang for demolition in April 2012.
