Rd77: Are some shell plating of a 22 years old ship so valuable that it is cheaper than new ones when building a modern cable layer?? With new IMO no, she must be a new ship. What has been the idea of such an "operation"?

Hi Trygve, read the comments on the link that I shared. The MARAM only contains some shell plating of the old MOSA, the rest is new after all.

Thanks, rd77, interesting that they re-built a 22 year old RO RO to this cable layer. To me, when shooting her 4 weeks ago, she looked very new, but new painting and superstructure, + +, make miracles.
