Retired US Navy Essex Class Aircraft Carrier displayed at Patriot's Point near Charleston SC.
She is displayed along with USS Laffey (DD 724) and USS Clamagore (SS 343).
You can tell how she was repainted on the side visitor's see but not the other.
Taken from the fishing pier converted from the old US 17 bridge in Mount Pleasant SC.
