The catamaran ferry V2V EMPRESS at its berth in front of the CPR Steamship Terminal in the Inner Harbour of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.

This ferry service is the latest in a long line of attempts to operate a ferry between the inner harbours of Victoria and Vancouver. The vessel has been configured with 254 seats and the crossing time is 3 hours and 30 minutes. Service was originally planned to begin on May 1, 2017, but delays in crew training have pushed this date back by a few weeks.
