04/05/2017, maiden voyage, Port of Felixstowe.

Although completed in September 2016, & delivered to the owner, Costamare, on the 30th of that month, there has been a delay in entering service to the charterer, OOCL.

Vessel is on a reported USD18,000 per day charter, for a 6-12 month period, to OOCL - now part of OCEAN Alliance - and is the first OOCL vessel (kind of), to call at the port for a good many years.

Hello Rick,, really.... a superb photo indeed ( I especially like those lighted "greyish squares" at the ship's stern) and moreover, I can almost imagine you my friend, fixing the different settings on your camera for this shot..... btw, are you coming after the 20th of May.... ??

Thanks for your comment Roy, hopefully we will see some of her sisters here at Felixstowe, too. However, Cape Tainaro (114) is on OOCL's East Coast Express (Far East to USA East Coast) at the moment.
